For several years I was a national newspaper Film Editor, reviewing all the major releases and interviewing stars and directors.
Now I’m a screenwriter for film and television, with over a dozen script sales/ commissions. I’ve written true stories, novel adaptations and comedies.
With Crispian Mills, I co-wrote SLAUGHTERHOUSE RULEZ, a comedy-horror set in a British public school which was released nationwide in the UK on October 31 2018. The debut production from Simon Pegg and Nick Frost’s Stolen Picture, it stars Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Michael Sheen, Finn Cole, Asa Butterfield, and Hermione Corfield. Catalyst Global Media produces with Sony Pictures and Stolen Picture. Crispian Mills directs.
I wrote BORN A KING, a $20 million historical drama based on true events set in Arabia and the UK in 1919 which is currently in post production. Directed by multiple Goya-winner Agusti Villaronga, it stars Ed Skrein, Hermione Corfield, Kenneth Cranham, Laurence Fox, James Fleet and Abdullah Ali.
I am a visiting screenwriting tutor at the London Film Academy, and have a BA (Hons) in Modern History from Oxford University (2.1).
