For 20 years I was film editor of the Sunday Express, reviewing all the major releases and interviewing stars and directors.
Now I’m a screenwriter for film and television, with over a dozen script sales/ commissions. I’ve written true stories, novel adaptations and several comedies.
I co-wrote SLAUGHTERHOUSE RULEZ with Crispian Mills, a comedy-horror set in a British public school which is currently in production. It stars Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Michael Sheen, Finn Cole, Asa Butterfield, and Hermione Corfield. Catalyst Global Media produces with Sony Pictures and Simon Pegg and Nick Frost’s Stolen Picture. Crispian Mills directs.
I wrote BORN A KING, a historical drama based on true events set in Arabia and the UK in 1919 which is also in production. Directed by multiple Goya-winner Agusti Villaronga, it stars Ed Skrein, Hermione Corfield, Kenneth Cranham, Laurence Fox, James Fleet and Abdullah Ali.
I have a BA (Hons) in Modern History from Oxford University (2.1).
